Saint Valentine's Day is coming soon but all the cafes are still closed... Don’t be upset, because instead of a romantic dinner in a restaurant you can arrange a not less romantic picnic in your own car creating some cozy atmosphere of warmth and love in it.

We at Everest Auto have prepared a special list of places where you can go with your loved one by car.

1. Kuldīga is a great place where you can walk around the authentic old town, have a picnic, and enjoy the views and the murmur of the Venta Rapid Waterfall which is the widest waterfall in Europe.


2. The Pedvale Open-Air Art Museum in the Abava valley is an option for those who want to combine walking in the nature with visiting an interesting creative area with a variety of art objects.


3. If you want to plunge into the atmosphere of unity with nature, we suggest you to go to the snow-covered forests of Tērvete. It is a great place for both hiking and skiing.


4. The Ogre Blue Mountains is a natural park that at this time of the year turns into a real winter fairy tale. This place is also perfect for both leisurely walks while contemplating nature, and for cross-country skiing. There you can also rent skis.


5. And of course, Sigulda is an ideal place for active sports both in summer and winter. In this wonderful area you can find a picturesque national park, ancient castles, caves, ski slopes, a bobsleigh track, and many more exciting activities.
